Fuel to burn into mid-December
Fuel has added a new batch of tour dates to its ongoing U.S. tour that extend the run into mid-December, and is offering tickets, passes and trips via contests on its official website.
Currently on a short break, Fuel is set to hit the road again on Nov. 27 in New Hampshire, followed by a Nov. 29 date in Boston. Subsequent December dates begin on Dec. 1 in Atlantic City, and include additional stops in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Connecticut before the group heads to Seattle for a Dec. 14 radio festival.
The band is holding two contests on its website. In one contest, it is giving away pairs of tickets and backstage passes to some of its 2001 performances--fans must make a minimum purchase of a T-shirt to enter. In the other, the band is giving away a trip for two to see one of the band’s forthcoming U.S. performances during January or February--no purchase is necessary for this contest.
Fuel is touring in support of its latest release, “Something Like Human” (Epic), which was released in September and was recently certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America for shipping over 500,000 copies. The album’s first single, “Hemorrhage in My Hands” (Epic), has been sitting at No. 1 on Billboard’s Modern Rock singles chart since late last month.
