Kylie Minogue announces live dates for March
LONDON--Australian pop singer Kylie Minogue, who released her most recent studio album, "Light Years," in September, will embark on a six-date tour of midsize U.K. venues next March. The tour, dubbed On a Night Like This, will be Minogue’s first British outing in eight years.
Tickets for the tour go on sale on Friday (11/17). The venture will begin in Glasgow, Scotland, on March 3 and conclude in London on March 17.
"Light Years," Minogue’s ninth studio album, is currently at No. 51 on the U.K. album chart, and has sold over 200,000 copies since being released seven weeks ago. Her duet with Robbie Williams, "Kids," recently debuted at No. 2 on the U.K. chart. The two are also scheduled to perform the song on Thursday (11/16) night at the MTV Europe Awards in Stockholm, Sweden.
Minogue, who was popular in the ‘80s with hits "Locomotion" and "I Should Be So Lucky," was dropped from dance label Deconstruction in 1999 before being signed to Parlaphone the same year.
