Craig David schedules more dates
LONDON--Soul star Craig David is to launch his first U.K. and Ireland arenas tour in February after completing his first midsize venue tour this November. Tickets for the 11 dates go on sale on Friday (11/10), with the 19-year-old singer hitting the road in Cardiff, Wales, on Feb. 19.
David is scheduled to release his third single, "Walking Away," on Nov. 20. His first album, "Born to Do It," which debuted at No. 1 on the Official U.K. album chart in August, is currently at No. 9.
A spokesperson for David told liveDaily that there are no plans for him to release a new album in conjunction with his 2001 tour.
David won Best R&B Act, Best U.K. Newcomer and Best U.K. Single at this year’s MOBO Awards.
