Weekend Ticketing: McGraw-Hill, Prince, Limp Bizkit

Notable ticket on-sales for the coming days include a Tim McGraw -Faith Hill benefit show, a new Prince date in Nashville, three Limp Bizkit Anger Management stops, three Orgy shows, and still another large helping of radio station-sponsored holiday concerts.

Faith Hill and Tim McGraw will play a benefit show in Hampton, Va., to aid the families of the American soldiers killed last month’s bombing of the USS Cole in Yemen. Tickets go on sale on Saturday (11/11) at 10 a.m. Eastern Time.

Never one to do things the easy way, Prince has taken to announcing his tour stops one at a time. The latest show to surface is a Nov. 25 gig at Nashville’s Municipal Auditorium. Tickets are scheduled to go on sale on Saturday at 10 a.m. Central Time.

Orgy is quietly rolling out a year-end club tour; tickets for at least three shows are about to hit the market.

Tickets for the Providence, R.I., show go on sale at noon Eastern Time on Friday (11/10), and on-sales for the St. Louis appearance will hit the market at 5 p.m. Central Time on Friday. Tickets for the Cincinnati show go on sale at 10 a.m. Eastern Time on Saturday.

Chicago pop station B-96 will host its Jingle Bash--featuring 98 Degrees, Boyz II Men, Shaggy and others--on Dec. 9 at the Arie Crown Theater in Chicago. Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. Central Time.

Barenaked Ladies, Bon Jovi, BB Mak, Pat Benatar, Smashmouth, Fisher and Steve Poltz are scheduled to appear at the Star 100.7 Jingle Ball at San Diego’s Cox Arena on Dec. 15. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday.

In Houston, pop station 104 KRBE will bring 98 Degrees, Debelah Morgan, Pink, Mya, South Park Mexicans, Shaggy, the Wallflowers, and O-Town to the Astrodome on Dec. 4. Tickets to the Jingle Jam go on sale on Saturday at 10 a.m. Central Time.

Philadelphia’s Y100 FEASTival-set for Dec. 8 at the First Union Center--will sport a line-up of Live, the Wallflowers, Everclear, Fuel and Good Charlotte.

Meanwhile, the Q-102 Jingle Ball, which will take place at Philadelphia's Electric Factory on Dec. 12, has a bill of 98 Degrees, Pink, Nine Days, Mya, Baha Men and Ruff Endz. On-sales for both holiday festivals are set to begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday.

98 Degrees, Pink, Vertical Horizon, Brian McKnight, Soul Decision, Jessica Simpson, BBMak, Mandy Moore and Samantha Mamba will perform at WDRQ’s Electric Kringle Jingle, which is set for Dec. 8 at the Palace of Auburn Hills near Detroit. Ticket sales begin at 10 a.m. Central Time on Friday.

In the Miami area, the Y-100 Jingle Ball is set for Dec. 8 at the Sunrise Musical Theatre. Boyz II Men, Third Eye Blind and Vitamin C are on the bill, and ticket sales begin at 5 p.m. Eastern Time on Friday.

On-sales for Limp Bizkit’s Anger Management Tour continue to surface. Tickets are scheduled to be released in three markets--Miami, Greensboro, and Charlotte, N.C.--on Saturday at 10 a.m.
