Weekend Ticketing: Holiday shows, Prince, Limp Bizkit, Wu-Tang Clan
Ticket on-sales for holiday radio festivals will roll out at a frantic pace in the coming days. Such shows typically feature a long bill of big names, but the acts typically play short sets.
Meanwhile, two more Prince on-sales are on the horizon, including a just-announced show in Richmond, Va. And watch out for several upcoming Limp Bizkit Anger Management on-sales.
Collective Soul, SR 71, Orgy, Marvelous 3, Unified Theory and Lifehouse will be on the bill for the Not So Acoustic Christmas show that will be hosted by Charlotte, N.C., alt-rock station 106.5 The End. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Eastern Time on Friday (11/3).

New York’s Z-100 has assembled a formidable lineup for its Jingle Ball concert: Ricky Martin, Britney Spears, Barenaked Ladies, Third Eye Blind, Mya, Baha Men, 98 Degrees and Nine Days. Tickets hit the market at 5 p.m. Eastern Time on Friday.
Boyz II Men, Mya, Debelah Morgan, Shaggy and Pink are scheduled to perform at the Low Dough Christmas Show that will be presented by Z-100 radio in Portland, Ore. Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. Pacific Time.

Wu-Tang Clan is planning some scattered tour dates in the coming weeks. Tickets for the group’s Nov. 29 appearance at the Denver’s Fillmore Auditorium are scheduled to go on sale at 10 a.m. Mountain Time on Saturday.
At press time, Wu Tang member Ol’ Dirty Bastard hadn’t been heard from since he fled while being transferred from a Pasadena drug treatment facility to a Los Angeles courthouse late last month. It’s safe to assume that ODB won’t be appearing at Wu-Tang’s Denver show.

On-sales are set for 10 a.m. Central Time for the tour’s Houston and San Antonio dates, and a 10 a.m. Pacific Time on-sale is planned for a Los Angeles show. A noon Central Time on-sale is planned in Dallas.
