Charts: Limp Bizkit stays at No. 1

Limp Bizkit ’s “Chocolate Starfish and the Hotdog Flavored Water” (Flip/Interscope), which debuted at No. 1 last week, holds on to the top spot again this week after selling another 392,540 copies, according to Interscope. The disc is followed by a No. 2 debut from Lenny Kravitz ’ “Greatest Hits” (Virgin), the only newcomer in this week’s Top 10.

Last week, “Chocolate Starfish” landed atop the chart after selling over 1 million copies in its first week out, making it the fourth album to do so this year. The group is currently headlining the Anger Management tour, which also features Eminem, Papa Roach and Xzibit. The band recently added 10 dates to that tour’s itinerary.

Kravitz’ “Greatest Hits” is a 15-track compilation that features 14 previously released tunes, and one new track, “Again.” The new song debuted at No. 23 on trade publication Radio & Records’ latest adult alternative chart, which measures national radio airplay.

“Country Grammar” (Universal), the highly successful debut from Nelly , stays firm at No. 3 this week. The St. Louis-based rapper recently announced plans to head out on tour with the Cash Money Millionaires, Lil’ Kim and others. The jaunt is set to kick off on Nov. 10 in Miami.

Claiming the No. 4 spot this week is Ja Rule ’s “Rule 3:36” (Def Jam), down from last week’s No. 3 position. Meanwhile, as “Rule 3:36” descends, the Baha Men ’s “Who Let the Dogs Out” (S-Curve) continues its unlikely ascent by climbing yet another spot this week to No. 5. The disc has been buoyed by the use of its title track at sporting events, most noticeably Major League Baseball’s recently concluded World Series.

Creed’s “Human Clay” (Wind Up), now in its 57th week of release, drops one notch to No. 6 this week. The band continues to tour in support of the album, and recently announced a new batch of tour dates that will keep it on the road until at least Dec. 9.

Slipping from No. 4 to No. 7 this week is Ludacris’ debut “Back for the First Time” (Def Jam), followed by Mystikal’s “Let’s Get Ready” (Jive) at No. 8. The No. 8 spot was held by 98 Degrees' “Revelation” (Universal) last week, which bounces out of the Top 10 this week and lands at No. 13.

3 Doors Down’s “Better Life” (Universal) continues to bounce around the lower rungs of the Top 10 for the umpteenth week in a row, climbing a spot this week to wind up at No. 9. The disc is followed by Madonna’s latest, “Music” (Warner Bros.), which was recently certified by the Recording Industry Association of America for shipping over 2 million copies.

Debuts landing outside the Top 10 this week include the “Charlie’s Angels Soundtrack” (Columbia) at No. 15, Linkin Park’s “Hybrid Theory” (Warner Bros.) at No. 16, the Celine Dion compilation “The Collector’s Series Vol. 1” (550 Records) at No. 28, and Christina Aguilera’s “My Kind of Christmas” (RCA) at No. 38.

Rocker Sammy Hagar’s “Ten 13” (Cabo Wabo/Beyond), meanwhile, falls just outside of the Top 50 this week to enter the chart at No. 52, according to his label.
