Album Chart: Jay-Z holds on to No. 1

Jay-Z 's "The Blueprint 3," which last week debuted atop the US album chart, will stay put for a second consecutive week.

During its second week in stores, "The Blueprint 3" moved almost 300,000 copies, which is more than enough to keep its grip on The Billboard 200's No. 1 slot, according to Nielsen SoundScan retail data as reported by Billboard.

Meanwhile, sales of Whitney Houston 's comeback album, "I Look To You," got a massive bump thanks to the singer's back-to-back appearances on "The Oprah Winfrey Show," and will climb into the No. 2 position with sales of 156,000 copies--a 77% increase over the previous week--which brings the album's three-week total to almost 550,000 copies, according to Billboard.

Must 's "The Resistance" follows at No. 3 with first-week sales of 128,000 copies; Kid Cudi debuts at No. 4 with "Man on the Moon: The End of Day"; and Miley Cyrus ' "The Time of Our Lives" EP drops three places to No. 5 with 75,000 copies.

Rounding out the Top 10 are Drake 's "So Far Gone" EP, which debuts at No. 6 on sales of 73,000 copies; Lil' Boosie 's "Superbad," which enters the chart at No. 7 with 49,000 copies; Taylor Swift 's "Fearless," which, after getting a bump in part from the recent controversy stemming from her run-in with Kanye West at the VMAs, climbs two rungs to No. 8 with sales of 46,000 copies; Megadeth 's "Endgame" at debuts at No. 5 with sales of 45,000 copies; and the Black Eyed Peas ' "The E.N.D." slips three slots to No. 10 after selling 40,000 copies.
