John Hiatt's acoustic tour goes west
update: Singer-songwriter John Hiatt has extended his club tour in support of his new acoustic album “Crossing Muddy Waters” through mid-November. Though the new album was released only three weeks ago, Hiatt has been the road consistently since May.
Hiatt's tour will focus on the Great Lakes region for the rest of October, and is scheduled to tour the West Coast in November.
According to his label, “Crossing Muddy Waters” was recorded in less than a week at Hiatt’s home studio in Tennessee.
The new Hiatt album was released by Vanguard Records, which is distributing the album in CD format. The Internet site Emusic.com is distributing the album in the MP3 format via its website.
