The 2009 Samsung AT&T Summer Krush Tour is now in its third year. Tuesday night (9/8), the free concert series featured rap giant Jay-Z [ tickets ] as the headlining act at the House of Blues in Chicago.

Kicking off his set list with "Run This Town" and “D.O.A.," Jay-Z performed to an enthusiastic crowd which included more than a couple of sports stars--among the list of athletes present were Dwyane Wade (Miami Heat), Derrick Rose (Chicago Bulls), Michael Finley (San Antonio Spurs), Shannon Brown (LA Lakers) and Orlando Pace (Chicago Bears).

Thus far, the Summer Krush series has showcased Daughtry [ tickets ], The Offspring [ tickets ], Darius Rucker [ tickets ], T-Pain [ tickets ], Dierks Bentley [ tickets ] and Maxwell [ tickets ], among others. After hitting up several cities across the US. the final installment is set to take place on Monday (9/14) at the Central Courtyard in Los Angeles. LiveDaily Photographer Lyle A.
