Fall Out Boy's Patrick Stump arrested in Los Angeles

Fall Out Boy frontman Patrick Stump was arrested late Tuesday (8/25) night in Los Angeles for driving without a valid license, according to Entertainment Weekly.

The arrest followed a traffic stop during which police officers discovered an outstanding warrant that was issued after Stump failed to appear before a Beverly Hills judge in 2007 for driving without a valid California driver's license.

The singer was released Wednesday (8/26) after posting $15,000 bail.

In a post-arrest interview with MTV News, Stump said he didn't want to give up his Illinois driver's license and was unaware that was a crime. "It is, by the way, [a crime] in the state of California," he said. "Lesson learned. I technically broke a law, so technically I deserve whatever I get. But man, is my mom gonna be pissed."
