After an artist such as Rod Stewart has been on stage for nearly five decades, it's a safe assumption that almost everything has been said to describe him. Stewart's music has been labeled everything from Blue Eyed Soul to Soft Rock, but one thing is certain: the singer is a classic rock icon above all.

Stewart is most famous for such hit songs as "Maggie May," "Tonight's the Night (Gonna Be Alright)," "Hot Legs," "Da Ya Think I'm Sexy," "Young Turks" and "Forever Young." Earlier this year he even performed "Maggie May" during the final episode of "American Idol" season eight. Although rumors of a Faces reunion continue to simmer, Stewart is currently focused on playing his best-known songs on tour.

LiveDaily contributing photographer Steve Jennings attended Stewart's concert at the HP Pavilion in San Jose last night (8/4), and here are the results.
