Five cities added to Marilyn Manson’s fall tour

update: Six additional shows have been added to the Marilyn Manson [ tickets ]-fronted Guns, God and Government tour, which also features Godhead [ tickets ] and the Union Underground. The tour is scheduled to get underway on Oct. 27 in Minneapolis.

The new additions to the shock-rocker’s itinerary include Philadelphia (two shows), Rochester, N.Y., Fairfax, Va., Lowell, Mass., and New York City.

Tickets for most of the tour’s stops are on sale now. A limited number of pre-sale tickets for Manson’s appearances in Houston, New Orleans, Philadelphia, Rochester and Fairfax, Va., went on the market through the ArtistDirect site at noon Eastern Time on Wednesday (10/11).

Manson is lining up the tour to support the release of his forthcoming album “Holy Wood,” due in stores on Nov. 14.
