Barenaked Ladies add dates to "Maroon" tour

update: Eight dates in late November and early December have been added to Barenaked Ladies [ tickets ]’ North American arena tour behind the new album "Maroon."

The newly announced dates focus on the northeastern U.S. and the Great Lakes region. The quirky Canadian rock band opened its tour two weeks ago.

Barenaked Ladies’ keyboardist Kevin Hearn, who wasn’t able to tour behind "Stunt" because he was stricken with leukemia, has recovered from his illness and is again on the road with the band.

Barenaked Ladies are scheduled to appear on NBC's "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" on Friday (10/6), and a VH1 "Behind The Music" special on the band is scheduled to air on Sunday (10/8).
