Black Eyed Peas manager arrested after Perez Hilton assault

Black Eyed Peas manager Liborio "Polo" Molina was charged with assaulting web gossip Perez Hilton after the MuchMusic Video Awards Sunday (6/21) in Toronto, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Hilton claims the dispute started during a dress rehearsal on Saturday (6/20) when Fergie approached the blogger about his recent criticisms of the band's new album, "The E.N.D.," according to the Los Angeles Times.

Hilton claims that after the ceremony on Sunday, Will.I.Am confronted him at a nightclub, leading to the alleged altercation with Molina.

Hilton reportedly alerted police via Twitter, claiming he had been involved in an altercation with the group.

Molina was charged with assault and is scheduled to appear in court Aug. 5, according to published reports.
