Paul McCartney adds third Citi Field gig

Paul McCartney this morning (6/15) added a third July concert at New York's Citi Field after tickets to a pair of previously announced shows sold out within five minutes, according to promoter AEG Live.

Tickets for the third show, set for July 21, are now on sale via 507TIXX.com and by phone at 718-507-TIXX, according to a press release. The first two shows are set for July 17 and 18.

McCartney's performances will mark the first concerts at Citi Field, the new home of Major League Baseball's New York Mets. He's expected to play a mix of classics from his solo catalog and by The Beatles, as well as some songs from "Electric Arguments," his album released last year under the alias The Fireman.
