Aerosmith contest seeks 'most deserving' fans
Aerosmith 's official fan club is looking for the band's "Most Deserving Fan."
The Aero Force One (AF1) fan club has launched a contest to find 37 deserving fans to win an upgrade VIP Package for the "Wheels Up" tour that will include a pass for two to a pre-concert VIP party, an exclusive gift bag and a meet and greet with Steven Tyler and Joe Perry, according to a press release.
The qualifications to be considered the "Most Deserving Fan" are seemingly vague and flexible. "Perhaps you made something super special happen for someone else, you stuck to your New Year's resolution or are just the world's hugest Aerosmith fan," the fan club said in a statement. "Whatever it is, send in your story … so the band's fan community can decide who is the 'Most Deserving Fan!'"
Those interested can email a story or video to contests@aeroforceone.com. The band's fan community will vote for 37 winners to attend a show at each of the band's 2009 summer tour stops after June 16, excluding stops in Irvine, CA and Sturgis, SD.
The contest is open to all fans who register at the AF1 website, where a complete list of contest details can be found. A paid fan-club membership is not required.
