Weekend Ticketing: Journey, Bruce Springsteen, Tori Amos, Maxwell, Steely Dan
Resurgent classic rockers Journey have rolled out dates for a massive summer tour schedule as the band continues to showcase new lead singer Arnel Pineda.
Friday (6/5) on-sales are scheduled for upcoming shows in Bossier City, LA; Grand Rapids, MI; Uncasville, CT; Greensboro, NC; and Richmond, VA. Saturday (6/6) on-sales are lined up in Sioux Falls, SD; Tulsa, OK; Kansas City, MO; and Uniondale, NY.

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, who recently announced plans for a three-night stand at New Jersey's Giants Stadium, have added two more nights to the run.
Originally set to perform Sept. 30, Oct. 2 and Oct. 3, Springsteen and company will return to the venue for encore performances Oct. 8 and 9.
Tickets for the newly added dates will hit the box office at noon on Monday (6/8).

Tori Amos will launch a US theater trek this summer behind her recently released 10th studio album, "Abnormally Attracted to Sin." The piano-playing singer/songwriter plans to hit concert halls and theaters in 26 cities from coast to coast through mid-August.
Tickets go on sale Friday (6/5) in Kansas City, MO; Toronto; New York City; and Durham, NC. A Saturday (6/6) on-sale is set for Portland, OR.

Maxwell has announced venues and nailed down a new start date for his impending summer tour in support of his first new album in almost a decade. Titled "BLACKsummers'night," the set hits retailers July 7, and is the first installment of a planned trilogy.
Tickets will roll out Friday (6/5) in Nashville; Louisville, KY; Uncasville, CT; and Columbus, OH; and on Saturday (6/6) in Norfolk, VA.

Steely Dan continues to add new summer dates to the "Rent Party '09 Tour," extending the US jaunt through early September. In addition to the single-night concerts, four cities--Boston (7/22, 7/24-25); New York (7/28-29, 7/31); Universal City, CA (8/21-22, 8/24-25) and Chicago (8/31-9/1, 9/3-9/4)--will host the veteran jazz-rockers for multiple nights.
The Grammy-winning act has a Friday on-sale set for tickets to a Detroit performance, and Saturday (6/6) on-sales are planned for tickets to multi-night runs in Chicago and New York City.
