Destiny’s Child lines up U.K. shows

LONDON--Destiny’s Child will play three British arena dates in November after wrapping up its current American tour. The shows will promote the female R&B group’s forthcoming single "Independent Women," which will be released in the U.K. on Nov. 20 and is taken from the soundtrack of the upcoming film "Charlie’s Angels."

The trio--Beyoncé Knowles, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams--are currently supporting Christina Aguilera on her U.S. outing. Former member Farrah Franklin parted company with the group in July after a mere five months. She and Williams had been recruited at the same time to replace original members LeToya Luckett and LaTavia Roberson.

Destiny's Child [ tickets ]'s latest album, 1999's "The Writing’s on the Wall," peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 and is currently at No. 19.
