Alan Jackson continues 'Good Time' trek

Alan Jackson has tacked a handful of dates onto his sporadic US trek behind last year's "Good Time."

Ten shows have been added to the spring and summer itinerary since last check, including a four-date stint in the South (5-14/17) and an August run split between North Carolina and California. Details are below.

Jackson, who spent part of the last three months on the road, is supporting his 17th studio album, "Good Time," which surfaced last March. The effort marks the country superstar's fourth release to simultaneously debut at No. 1 on The Billboard 200 and the Top Country Albums chart. Several hit singles have emerged from the set, including "Small Town Southern Man," "Country Boy" and the title track.

"Sissy's Song," the album's latest single, hits close to home for the award-winning country singer. Inspired by the tragic death of an employee in 2007, the track has peaked at No. 13 on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart. A video for the cut, shot in black-and-white and directed by Scott Scovill, is in regular rotation on CMT.

Jackson participated in an all-star tribute to George Strait in Las Vegas earlier this month, alongside Brooks & Dunn, Montgomery Gentry, LeAnn Rimes, Blake Shelton, John Rich, Jamie Foxx and others. The show, titled "George Strait: ACM Artist of the Decade, An All Star Concert Special," airs May 27 on CBS.
