Pearl Jam, Dave Matthews Band, Beastie Boys headline Austin City Limits Festival
After months of roster rumors, Austin City Limits Festival has unveiled the official lineup, which includes Pearl Jam , Dave Matthews Band , Beastie Boys and Kings of Leon .
Set for Oct. 2-4 in Austin's Zilker Park, the eighth edition of the three-day event will feature 130 bands on eight stages. Ben Harper and Relentless7, Thievery Corporation, John Legend, Sonic Youth, The B-52's and the Toadies also made the bill, as well as Jack White's latest musical endeavor, The Dead Weather.
General-admission 3-day passes are available now at the festival website, as well as VIP credentials. Single-day tickets will be available in the coming weeks.
The Texas festival is based on the public access show "Austin City Limits," which films live performances of musicians on the University of Texas at Austin campus and holds the title of longest-running concert music program on television. The TV show first aired in 1976.
