Rascal Flatts, Darius Rucker, Wynonna added to CMA Fest
Rascal Flatts , Darius Rucker and Wynonna have been added to the CMA Music Festival lineup, set to take place June 11-14 in Nashville.
The latest additions join a roster that already includes Dierks Bentley, Brooks & Dunn, Julianne Hough, Reba McEntire, Brad Paisley, Jason Aldean, Rodney Atkins, Lady Antebellum, Trace Adkins, Martina McBride, Miranda Lambert, Montgomery Gentry, and many others.
Wynonna, who this year marks her 25th anniversary as a performer, recently released her seventh solo album, "Sing: Chapter 1." The country singer will also perform alongside her mother, Naomi Judd, as The Judds during the festival.
Darius Rucker, vocalist for mid-'90s hit-makers Hootie and the Blowfish, will grace the CMA Fest stage for the first time behind his debut solo album, "Learn to Live." The crossover album has spawned two No. 1 singles so far: "Don't Think I Don't Think About It" and "It Won't Be Like This For Long."
Country superstars Rascal Flatts, who have won the award for CMA Vocal Group of the Year for six consecutive years and will hit the road this June behind their latest album, "Unstoppable," are also slated to perform on the CMT Music Awards show June 17.
