Pink maps US dates in September
Pink will embark on her first US tour since 2006 later this year, after returning from a long overseas road trip behind her latest studio set, last fall's "Funhouse."
The pop diva currently is set to kick off the US outing Sept. 15 in Seattle, and to wind it down Sept. 28 in Fairfax, VA. She'll also pass through San Jose, CA (9/17); Phoenix (9/20) and Houston (9/24). Dates are below, but additional shows will be announced, according to a press release.
The singer, who is currently finishing a slate of UK and Ireland shows, heads to Australia next month for a long tour stretch continuing through most of summer. Those dates can be found at Pink's official website.
Pink is supporting her fifth studio album, "Funhouse," which surfaced last October. The set peaked at No. 2 on the US charts, and hit the top spot in Australia, New Zealand and the UK.
The album's lead single, "So What," debuted at No. 9 on the Billboard Hot 100 last August, Pink's highest debuting single to date. The tune peaked at No. 1 in September, giving the singer her first solo top-seller, and second of her career after her 2001 "Lady Marmalade" collaboration with Christina Aguilera, Mya and Lil' Kim.
"This is my most vulnerable album to date," Pink, who split with husband Carey Hart before entering the recording studio, said in her bio. "It's not just a breakup album. There is a lot of that, but there is fun happening too and that's why I named it 'Funhouse' in the end."
