KISS has postponed its Japanese tour due to a scheduling conflict, according to the band's management. No information on when the tour would be rescheduled was available.
Last week, the group's Sept. 24 show in Lake Placid, N.Y., was canceled by the promoter due to poor ticket sales, according to the webmaster of the band's official website. The group is scheduled to perform as planned on Tuesday night (9/26) in New Jersey.
From atop the Dublin, Ireland, hotel that it owns, U2 plans to play two songs from its new album on Wednesday (9/27), NME.com reported.
On Tuesday (9/26), 98 Degrees will premier some of its new songs on Wal-Mart Television, which can be found inside hundreds of Wal-Marts.
According to Inside, the Offspring acquired data on its fans through its website, then passed the data along to Columbia Records, its record label. The article says that the band did so "begrudgingly."
The Associated Press reported that Mark David Chapman, the man who killed John Lennon, thinks that it's time that he was released from prison.
Country musician Chris Le Doux has been diagnosed with Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis (PSC), a liver disease without a known cause. According to a statement, "LeDoux has been added to organ donation lists in preparation of a liver transplant, after which full recovery is expected."
