The Breeders' new EP gets early release

For those who can't wait until April 21 to pick up the new Breeders EP, "Fate To Fatal," there is a remedy: the band plans to make available a limited-edition 12-inch vinyl version on the third annual Record Store Day, April 18, according to a press release.

In addition to the early release, the Breeders' Kim and Kelley Deal will make a special Record Store Day in-store appearance at Shake It Records in Cincinnati, OH. The Deals will perform a short set beginning at 8 pm and then be available to autograph copies of the new EP.

Only 1,000 copies of the 12-inch EP will be pressed, with Kim and Kelley personally hand-screening the cover art. The artwork for both the vinyl EP and the digital download was designed by Chris Glass, who also created the logo for President Obama's "American Recovery and Reinvestment Act."
