U2 unveils '3 Nights Live' broadcast event
U2 continues the push behind its just-released 12th studio album, "No Line on the Horizon," with a trio of exclusive live radio broadcasts next week in Los Angeles, Chicago and Boston.
The Irish rockers will hit the airwaves on three consecutive nights, starting Monday (3/9) in Los Angeles, where they'll discuss the recording process and ideas behind "No Line On The Horizon" with Garbage vocalist Shirley Manson. Manson and the group will then travel to Chicago for the second part of the series Tuesday (3/10), taking over a one-hour radio show as guest deejays. A live performance and audience Q&A session Wednesday (3/11) in a yet-to-be-announced historic Boston theater caps things off.
The syndicated broadcasts will begin each night at 9 p.m. EST on radio stations across the country. A list of participating stations was not available at press time.
