Michael Jackson auction details announced
Michael Jackson will include his American Music Award for "Thriller" amongst the more than 2,000 personal items set to be sold at an April auction, according to an Associated Press report. Jackson, who announced the five-day sale by Julien's Auctions in December, also is offering up his platinum and gold records.
The auction house released images of the Jackson lots yesterday (2/17) on its website. The self-proclaimed King of Pop also is planning to auction a velvet cape given to him by his children for Father's Day in 1998, a pair of rhinestone-trimmed socks from 1981, a basketball signed by Michael Jordan, a customized Harley Davidson, a Rolls Royce limousine and some of his original artwork.
