McCartney promotes The Fireman album on Colbert

Paul McCartney will appear on "The Colbert Report" tonight (1/28) to talk about "Electric Arguments," the album he and producer/musician Youth released in November under The Fireman moniker.

McCartney's chat with Colbert will be his only scheduled US late-night television appearance in support of the project, according to a press release.

Other musicians who have appeared with Colbert include Neil Young, Tony Bennett, Willie Nelson, R.E.M., and Elvis Costello, among others.

"The Colbert Report" airs at 11:30 pm. ET/PT on Comedy Central.
