Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus join inauguration celebration
The Jonas Brothers and Miley Cyrus will appear Monday (1/19) night at a Presidential Inaugural event that will be attended by Malia and Sasha Obama and their parents, according to published reports.
US military families will be honored at the "Kids' Inaugural" concert, which also will feature Demi Lovato and Bow Wow.
The event will be televised at 8 p.m., on the Disney Channel and then streamed on Disney.com. The Disney/ABC Television Group also has exclusive rights to Tuesday's (1/20) "Neighborhood Ball," the first gala event of the evening to be attended by the newly sworn-in President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama, according to the Los Angeles Times.
Beyonce, Mary J. Blige, Mariah Carey, Faith Hill, Jay-Z, Alica Keys, Shakira and Stevie Wonder are scheduled to perform.
The "Neighborhood Ball" will be aired live on ABC from the Washington Convention Center at 8 p.m. Eastern Time.
