Tim McGraw to host SNL
Tim McGraw will host "Saturday Night Live" Nov. 22. It will be the country star's first appearance on the long-running late-night television show.
McGraw will be the first country artist to host the show since Garth Brooks' 1999 appearance. The only other country singers to do the honors were Willie Nelson, Dolly Parton and Johnny Cash.
McGraw, who apparently will not appear as a musical guest, is starring in the upcoming film "Four Christmases" with Vince Vaughn, Reese Witherspoon and Jon Favreau. He also recently put his name on a new fragrance, "McGraw By Tim McGraw," and has written a children's book, "My Little Girl."
