Fall Out Boy sets out to break Guinness World Record

Fall Out Boy 's Pete Wentz and Patrick Stump announced they will attempt to set a Guinness World Record for the most interviews on radio in a 24-hour period by a pair of two, according to a press release.

Wentz and Stump plan to start their 24-hour quest Oct. 31 at 3:00 am PST at Premiere Studios in Los Angeles.

The current Guinness World Record for the most radio interviews by a pair of two is 57 stations in 24 hours.

Fall Out Boy also will be MTV's 52/52 Choose or Lose Artist of The Week Oct. 26-Nov. 4, giving them more than 11 hours of on-air time, according to a press release.

The video for "I Don't Care," the band's first single from the upcoming release "Folie A Deux," was released at Apple's iTunes store Sept. 25. The album is scheduled for a Dec. 16 release.
