Beloved American country/folk icon Willie Nelson knows a thing or two about touring. Seemingly inexhaustible, the singer seems to thrive on being in perpetual motion.
Ever the philanthropist, he will again be appearing at Farm Aid set to take place tomorrow (9/20) in Mansfield, MA. Later this year, he'll be performing as part of "A Colbert Christmas: The Greatest Gift of All," a music special on Comedy Central, scheduled to air Nov. 23. Proceeds from the sale of the show's companion DVD will go to the Feeding America charity.
Willie Nelson's biodiesel tour bus will be traveling along the East coast through the beginning of October, then heads South. Dates are currently scheduled through an Oct. 31-Nov. 1 stand in Houston, but with Willie, you an always count on more dates to be announced.
Tim Mosenfelder attended last year's Stagecoach Music Festival and took some photos of Nelson in action.
