Neil Diamond offers refunds to Columbus fans
Neil Diamond is offering refunds to concertgoers who were disappointed with his raspy voice at his Aug. 25 concert at Ohio State University in Columbus. Some fans reportedly walked out and demanded a refund, according to an Associated Press report.
Diamond, who has been diagnosed with acute laryngitis, apologized to his fans in a statement posted on his website. "I haven't let you down before and I won't let you down now," he said. "Until you hear from me again, remember, you are the sun. I am the moon. You are the words. I am the tune. Forgive me."
As previously reported, Diamond also rescheduled last night's planned Resch Center show in Green Bay, WI, and Friday's (8/29) show at Scottrade Center in St. Louis. The St. Louis show has been rescheduled for Sept. 10 and the Green Bay show for Sept. 12. Tickets for both shows will be honored at the rescheduled dates. However, refunds also will be available at point of purchase.
