Morrissey encouraging boycott of live DVD

Morrissey is urging people not to buy "Morrissey Live at the Hollywood Bowl," a new DVD released by Warner Bros. In a statement, the performer said Warner has breached the terms agreed to regarding the live recording by his ex-manager and the label.

Morrissey said he is not signed to Warner, and no royalties from the DVD will go to him. "Please spend your money elsewhere," the statement on the Morrissey-endorsed fan site truetoyou.com read. The singer also said the DVD is the work of cash-hounds, and the sleeve art is appalling.
