Briefly: Pearl Jam, Creed, Montgomery Gentry, Blink-182, Barbra Streisand, McGraw & Chesney

Tickets for Pearl Jam 's Nov. 5 performance at Key Arena in the band's hometown of Seattle are scheduled to go on sale Sept. 9. Though the addition of a Nov. 6 show is likely if the initial show sells out quickly, promoters so far aren't advertising the second date.

Creed will play a Sept. 6 show at Cleveland's Gund Arena, essentially to make up for an Aug. 16 show at that venue during which singer Scott Stapp suffered vocal problems. Tickets went for $5 and sold out in 30 minutes. Any profits after expenses, says the band, will be donated to charity.

Montgomery Gentry is headlining the Biketoberfest concert in Daytona Beach, Fla., on Oct. 21. Preceding the fest will be Thunder Over Dixie, a four-day motorcycle trek to Daytona Beach from Nashville.

Blink-182 will release its live album "The Mark, Tom and Travis Show (The Enema Strikes Back)" on Nov. 7. One new studio track, "Man Overboard," will be included, and can be heard on the group's official website beginning September 1.

Columbia Records will release Barbra Streisand 's "Timeless--Live in Concert" on Sept. 19. The first of her final four concerts follows on Sept. 20 in Los Angeles.

The Tennessean reported that Tim McGraw and Kenny Chesney have threatened to sue the Erie County Sheriff's Office in New York state. The country singers claim, among other things, that they were unjustly arrested following an incident in which Chesney took an officer's horse for a ride--Chesney claimed that he had permission to do so, the Sherriff's Office claimed that he did not.
