Placebo Unveils U.K. Tour, New Single Details
update: British guitar band Placebo will promote the Oct. 9 release of its new album "Black Market Music" with a 15-date U.K. tour. The mid-size venue outing will kick off at Liverpool’s Royal Court Theatre on Oct. 14 and end with two dates at London’s Brixton Academy on Oct. 31 and Nov. 1.
The second single to precede the new LP will be "Slave to the Wage," due on Sept. 25 and which can be heard at the band's official website. "Black Market Music," the group’s third album, is the follow up to 1998’s "Without You I'm Nothing," which peaked at No. 20 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart.
The group’s next live appearances will be this weekend at England’s Reading & Leeds Festival on August 26 and 27.
