Trace Adkins has added another dozen dates to his ongoing tour as he sails through summer with a host of projects on his plate. The country star, who's been on the road since January, still has nearly 40 stops planned all over the US into October. In addition to touring, Adkins is also hard at work on his eighth studio album, which is expected to surface this fall.

Industrial rockers Filter have added new dates to their current headlining tour behind "Anthems for the Damned," the group's first new studio album in six years. The band, led by frontman Richard Patrick, kicked off the run earlier this month and, so far, has dates lined up through first week of July.

Gov't Mule has mapped a full schedule of summer concert dates, including a number of co-headlining performances with Bob Weir & Ratdog. The Southern-rock jam quartet continues to support its 2006 studio release, "High and Mighty."

British synth-pop duo Yaz have doubled the size of the US leg of their reunion tour as fans quickly snap up tickets for the performances, all of which are set in July. The musicians recently announced plans to play their first live dates together in more than 25 years.

Among the new albums landing in stores today are Usher 's "Here I Stand," Cyndi Lauper's "Bring Ya to the Brink," Return to Forever's "The Anthology," Al Green's "Lay It Down" and the soundtrack from "Sex and the City."
