Label Readies The Best Of Radiohead

Capitol/EMI Records has set a June 3 release date for " Radiohead : The Best Of," a collection of songs exclusively culled from the band’s six major label albums.

"Radiohead: The Best Of" is billed as the band's first career retrospective, however no songs from the band's seventh record, the independently released "In Rainbows," are included in the set; The band, which officially severed its ties with the Capitol/EMI in 2004, recorded six studio albums for the label: the 1993 debut "Pablo Honey," "The Bends," "OK Computer," "Kid A," Amnesiac," and 2003's "Hail to the Thief."

The best-of set will be available in various formats and configurations, including a single CD featuring 17 songs, a special edition double CD with 13 additional tracks, a four-piece vinyl set with 29 tracks, a 30-track digital download and a DVD featuring classic promo videos.
