Lonestar Backs Country Music’s Top Single With Busy Concert Schedule
Lonestar is in the midst of a summer and fall tour that includes a combination of shows in support of Brooks & Dunn and dozens of headlining dates at fairs. The country act continues to support its double platinum album “Lonely Grill,” which has spent 63 weeks on the Billboard 200 album chart and currently sits at No. 100.
“Lonely Grill” has spawned three singles that have reached the top slot on Billboard’s Hot Country Singles and Tracks chart. The single “What About Now” currently sits at No. 1 on the chart, following in the tracks of “Amazed” and “Smile.”
Lonestar is nominated for a CMA Award in the Vocal Group of the Year category, and “Amazed” is nominated for Song of the Year.
In May, “Amazed” picked up two Academy of Country Music awards: Song of the Year and Single of the Year.
