Beck, Wilco, Others Join Outside Lands Music Festival Roster

Beck , Wilco , Ben Harper , Steve Winwood and Widespread Panic are among the newly-announced acts joining headliners Radiohead , Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers and Jack Johnson for the three-day Outside Lands Music & Arts Festival taking place in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park Aug. 22-24, according to a press release. Described by organizers as a multi-faceted festival, Outside Lands is expected to offer-up an eclectic lineup of artists and a broad range of other entertainment and amusement options, including interactive attractions, performance artists and art installations.

In addition to newcomers and established acts on five stages, organizers are bringing in San Francisco-based artists to highlight the location of the event. Primus, The Mother Hips, ALO, Two Gallants, The Coup, Goapele, Matt Nathanson and Sean Hayes will be amongst the local bands playing at Golden Gate Park, site for many high-profile concerts beginning in the 1960s. Other artists who will be performing at the genre- and generation-crossing festival include Manu Chao, Rodrigo Y Gabriela, Cafe Tacuba, Steel Pulse, Andrew Bird, Drive-By Truckers, Broken Social Scene, Regina Spektor, Devendra Banhart, Cold War Kids and others. More acts will be announced soon, according to a press release.
