The Furthur Festival date that was to take place at Arrowhead Pond in Anaheim has been moved to the smaller Universal Amphitheatre in Universal City, Calif. Promoters are asking ticket-holders to exchange their tickets at the point of purchase.

A bronchial infection forced Clint Black to cancel an Indianapolis show on Wednesday (8/16) and a guest appearance with Jimmy Buffett on Thursday (8/17). Meanwhile, Black's wife Lisa Hartman Black is scheduled to join her husband in concert on Aug. 27 at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles.

Smashing Pumpkins will stream live concert audio on their official website, according to chartattack.com.

The Who 's John Entwistle told Wall of Sound that the band has plans to go into the studio next year. He used the word "try" and did not say that an album would definitely be released as a result of the sessions.

Jam! showbiz reported that Alanis Morissette told a Los Angeles audience that she would be going into the studio soon.

Henry Rollins has been hired to host a suspense anthology show for FOX, mtv.com reported.

As part of its month-long 5th anniversary celebration, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland will honor blues legend Muddy Waters with concerts and, in the spirit of the Delta blues, a seminar. Waters is best remembered for his seminar "Unleashing the Mojo Within."
