Joe Perry Needs Knee Surgery

Joe Perry is scheduled to undergo orthopedic surgery on his knee Mar. 18, after two years of postponing the operation so he could continue touring with Aerosmith , according to a press release.

Perry's knee has worsened over the years and his pain had become chronic, and his knee finally gave out after playing two shows with TAB the Band--which features his two sons, Adrian and Tony. Because of the necessary recovery time, Perry has canceled an Apr. 5 solo show in Niagara Falls, NY.
