Moby Lines Up American Dates For September
LONDON-- Moby has announced an extensive U.S. tour, to be followed by a handful of dates in the U.K. The great-grand nephew of "Moby Dick" author Herman Melville will begin his U.S. tour in Denver on Sept. 8 and conclude the 33-date venture in Philadelphia, Penn. on November 3.
Gaining massive popularity in Britain with his latest album "Play," Moby will play three British arena dates following his extensive North American tour. The triple-platinum LP has sold over 900,000 copies in the U.K. and is now at No. 6 on the U.K. album chart.
Moby’s next live appearance will be at England’s V2000 Festival this weekend (8/19-20). His upcoming single "Honey," which features hip-hop singer Kelis, will be released in the U.K. on Oct. 16.
