Hard-rockers Hinder [ tickets ] have lined up a few headlining dates later this spring as they continue to support their second full-length studio effort, "Take It to the Limit."

The group, currently on tour in a support role with Motley Crue [ tickets ], kicks off the headlining slate April 19 in Albany, NY, and the 10-date outing runs through early May. The band also has a pair of headlining shows set for later this month, beginning with a March 12 show in Toronto.

Theory of a Deadman and Black Stone Cherry will offer opening support for most of the headlining dates. Details are below, including the band's appearances with Motley Crue.

Hinder is touring behind its sophomore studio album, "Take It to the Limit," which surface on Election Day last November, and follows the group's 2005 debut, "Extreme Behavior." The band penned the new set in various locations around North America, including the Canadian winter-resort town of Whistler, British Columbia, and Florida.

"We had a couple of destination trips for writing sessions," drummer Cody Hanson told LiveDaily last fall. "Austin and myself went down to Florida for one at a beach house right on the water. It was pretty awesome. We did another one up in Whistler up in the mountains, which was great as well. We did the rest of the writing on the road. It was a little bit faster and a little bit easier this time."

The first single from the new album, "Use Me," was released to radio last summer, peaking at No. 3 on Billboard's Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart. The third and latest single from the set, "Up All Night," is currently available for purchase as a digital download from the band's website.
