After much anticipation and several delays, folk-rock icon Neil Young on Feb. 24 will finally release the massive 10-disc set chronicling nine years of his early career. "Archives Volume 1," also available on Blu-Ray the same day, and both with a steep price tag, features 128 audio tracks, a third of them previously unreleased, including "Aurora," performed by Young's high school outfit, The Squires. A significant hardback book with handwritten lyrics, letters and other memorabilia accompanies the box set, as well as hours of video and thousands of images.

Following Iggy Pop on his 1986 tour in support of his then newly released album, "Blah Blah Blah," this interview-riddled DVD, available now, provides an inside look at the post-Stooges musician. Though a short 41 minutes, the Dutch-produced film includes a sit-down with late guitarist Ron Asheton, discussions on why the Stooges split, and a rare 1977 clip of Iggy Pop and David Bowie performing "Funtime."

Right on the heels of "Watershed," her first studio release in more than eight years, K.D. lang is celebrating the Feb. 3 DVD release of her 2008 concert with the BBC Orchestra at London's historic St. Luke's. Featured songs on the 86-minute disc include "Helpless," "Wash Me Clean," "I Dream of Spring" and her biggest hit, "Constant Craving." Lang's well-known version of Leonard Cohen's classic "Hallelujah" also made the cut.

This isn't the typical live performance DVD. The legendary Joni Mitchell has teamed up with choreographer Jean Grand-Maitre of the Alberta Ballet Company to create an informative ballet using select Mitchell songs. Mitchell and Grand-Maitre address environmental neglect through dance and songs such as "For the Roses," "The Beat of Black Wings" and "Big Yellow Taxi." Available now, the hour-long performance combines music, dance and art--a project Mitchell considers the best of her career.

Taylor Hicks

Modern-day blues singer Taylor Hicks is bringing his 2007 concert tour to Soul Patrol fans at home Feb. 17. Recorded at San Francisco's Warfield Theater in May 2007, this 84-minute disc showcases Hicks' characteristic high-energy live performance with songs "Gonna Move," "Heart and Soul," "Soul Thing," "The Fall," "Naked in the Jungle" and several others.
