Another half-dozen dates have been added to Elton John [ tickets ] and Billy Joel [ tickets ]'s upcoming "Face 2 Face" tour, including a stop in Canada.

The coast-to-coast outing, which now spans 18 cities, is split into two legs--the first one scheduled to launch March 2 in Jacksonville, FL, and the second one kicking off May 5 with a newly announced show in St. Paul, MN. Since last check, a second night has been added in Anaheim, CA, and shows have been confirmed in Omaha, Nashville, Toronto and the Detroit area. An updated itinerary is listed below.

Additions to the schedule will continue to roll in, as the "Face 2 Face" tour is expected to run periodically over the next two years.

John and Joel will open the concerts with a series of duets, playing twin pianos and trading vocals, and then each superstar will perform separately, according to a press release. The piano men will team up once again for the finale. The shows are expected to include some of their greatest hits alongside a selection of rock-and-roll classics.

John and Joel first toured together in 1994, and their most recent "Face 2 Face" outing was a sold-out, 24-date trek in 2003. The Grammy winners are the most successful and longest-running concert pairing in pop history, according to a press release.

John is keeping a busy schedule up to the start of the "Face 2 Face" trek, currently touring in Latin America and returning to his Las Vegas "Red Piano" residency next month. He'll also play Vegas in April, between "Face 2 Face" legs, and he'll head to Europe in June. John's full schedule can be found at his website.
