Nas [ tickets ]' new, untitled album sold 187,000 copied during its first week in US stores, enough to earn the veteran rapper his fifth No. 1 album.

With that showing, Nas knocks Lil Wayne [ tickets ]'s "The Carter III," which sold 105,000 copies over the past week, into the No. 2 spot, according to Billboard. "The Carter III" had spent three non-consecutive weeks at No. 1 on The Billboard 200 album chart, which is based on Nielsen SoundScan retail reports.

The "Mamma Mia" soundtrack climbs from No. 7 to No. 3 on sales of 91,000, while Coldplay [ tickets ]'s "Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends" falls from No. 2 to No. 4 on sales of 90,000.

The Disney "Camp Rock" soundtrack falls two notches to No. 5 on sales of 78,000, according to Billboard.

Rounding out the Top 10 are Kid Rock [ tickets ]'s Rock N Roll Jesus at No. 6, John Mellencamp [ tickets ]'s "Life Death Love and Freedom" at No. 7, David Banner [ tickets ]'s "The Greatest Story Ever Told" at No. 8, Taylor Swift [ tickets ]'s Wal-Mart exclusive "Beautiful Eyes" at No. 9, and Rihanna [ tickets ]'s "Good Girl Gone Bad" at No. 10.
