Korn Adds Dates As Headlining Tour Approaches

update: Korn , which wraps up its stint on the Metallica-led Summer Sanitarium tour in Arizona on Sunday (7/16), will open its own headlining tour two days later in North Dakota. Though an initial itinerary was announced in June, more dates are being added as the new tour’s start draws near.

Cities recently added to Korn’s itinerary include Kelowna, British Columbia, Albuquerque, N.M., and Cleveland. Opening for Korn on all dates will be rockers Papa Roach and Powerman 5000 .

"Issues" (Immortal/Epic), Korn's fourth album, was released last November, and has since been certified triple-platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America.

Powerman 5000 is touring in support of its album "Tonight the Stars Revolt" (Dreamworks), the band's second major-label release. Papa Roach, meanwhile, is touring behind "Infest" (Dreamworks), the band's major-label debut. “Infest” is currently at No. 8 on the Billboard 200 album chart.
