Sugarland adds summer dates ahead of 'Love'

Country duo Sugarland has added several new dates to its ongoing summer tour schedule, which backs the pair's forthcoming album, "Love on the Inside."

The Atlanta-based duo will drop the new set on their fans July 22, well into the meaty part of their current tour run. Singer/songwriters Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush continue the trek June 6 in St. Leonard, MN.

The schedule also includes a Sept. 13 appearance in Asheville, NC, a makeup date for an April show that was canceled due to an unspecified illness. All dates are below.

"Love on the Inside," the duo's third full-length album, features the cut "All I Want to Do," which debuted at No. 27 on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart, the duo's highest charting debut to date.

"We've been playing some of the new songs during our live shows," Nettles said in a press release. "The fans have been so responsive. We couldn't wait to get the whole album to them. I am more excited about this album than any other that I've recorded thus far," continued Nettles. "It is special to us and has a lot of emotion, heart, laughter, tears and love on the inside!"

The pair's previous album, 2006's platinum-selling "Enjoy the Ride," featured a pair of No. 1 singles in "Want To" and "Settlin'." That album, released late in 2006, boasts co-production by Nettles and Bush, along with Nashville veteran Byron Gallimore (Tim McGraw, Faith Hill), who also grabs production credit on the forthcoming "Love on the Inside."

The group took home Single Record of the Year and Song of the Year honors at last month's Academy of Country Music Awards for the single "Stay" from "Enjoy the Ride." The song, written solely by Nettles, marks the first time a female artist has ever held solo writing credit on an ACM Song of the Year winner, according to a press release.
