New Kids on the Block [ tickets ] have announced the first round of dates for their international reunion tour.

The group will give its first live performance in more than a dozen years May 16 on NBC-TV's "Today" show. That will be immediately followed by appearances at radio festivals in East Rutherford, NJ, and Mansfield, MA, after which the New Kids will skip into fall with a handful shows in the eastern US and Canada beginning Sept. 20 in Montreal. The itinerary is listed below.

Tickets for the fall tour go on sale to the general public beginning May 10. VIP packages will be available starting May 2, and American Express card holders will have a shot at pre-sale tickets in several markets beginning May 5. Further details will be posted at the New Kids on the Block website.

Earlier this month, the bandmates--Joey McIntyre, Donnie Wahlberg, Jordan Knight, Jonathan Knight and Danny Wood--greeted screaming fans on the "Today" show to announce they are back together and working on a new album.

In the late '80s and early '90s, the teenage New Kids sold more than 70 million records and racked up back-to-back No. 1 albums with 1988's "Hangin' Tough" and 1990's "Step by Step." Their R&B/pop crossover hits included "You Got It (The Right Stuff)," "Cover Girl," "Didn't I (Blow Your Mind This Time)," "Hangin' Tough," "I'll Be Loving You," "Step By Step" and "Tonight." Following the whirlwind of success and the world tours, the group quietly disbanded in 1994.

Now, the members are pushing 40 and most of them have kids and careers of their own. Wahlberg has made a name for himself as an actor; McIntyre, Wood and Jordan Knight have released solo albums; and Jonathan Knight became a real estate developer, according to The Associated Press.
