Bon Jovi nearing the end of the 'Highway'
The band, which launched the trek last September with a 10-night engagement in Newark, NJ, continues tonight (4/17) in Kansas City, MO, and has two more weeks' worth of shows in the US before heading to Europe for a five-week jaunt. Bon Jovi will finish things off in July with a stop in Sarnia, Ontario; a return to the Detroit area's Palace of Auburn Hills following a sellout performance earlier this year; and a two-night grand finale at New York City's Madison Square Garden.
Rock band Daughtry is supporting the current US leg and All American Rejects will open the July shows. North American dates are listed below and those overseas can be found at Bon Jovi's website.
The rockers are backing their latest album, "Lost Highway," which debuted at the top of The Billboard 200 last July and spawned the hit "(You Want To) Make a Memory." The Nashville-tinged set is the band's ninth album of original material and its first chart-topper since 1988's "New Jersey." It follows 2005's platinum-selling "Have a Nice Day," which spawned the Grammy-winning duet "Who Says You Can't Go Home" with Sugarland's Jennifer Nettles.
In November, Bon Jovi also released the DVD "Lost Highway: The Concert," which captures the band performing the album in its entirety during a Chicago concert last summer.
Since the '80s, Bon Jovi has sold upwards of 120 million albums worldwide and performed more than 2,500 concerts in more than 50 countries, according to the band's website.
